ABOUT CULTURE BASTARDS

The concept of Culture Bastards came from "Beijing Bastards",a film by Zhang Yuan.The contributors are in the same age like the leading actors.We are not great men.Our philosophy is "People laugh at me for being crazy,I laugh at them for not being able to open their eyes to the real world."(A famous poem from great chinese poet Tang Bohu)

Culture Bastards is a monthly online magazine created in Paris,2014.It's under the publishing line of LA VIE CINE.From Taiwan to other areas in the world,we present a new perspective of Asian creators.The main language in use is Mandarin before issue#7. We will try to make the content understandable by universal worldwide in the future.There's a theme for every issue,we invite the contributors from different domains to contribute their creations.ISSUE#0-4 are for image/text.ISSUE#5-9 are for video/interview.ISSUE#10-14 are for "Salon du shorts" between asians talents and european audiences.LA VIE CINE also got several projects in developing, welcome to join and support us.

Chia Yun Chang Graduated from the Motion Picture Department of National Taiwan University of Arts. 《Daily Life》is her first short film as a director and screenwriter. Reflecting part of her personal experiences in the film, and intend to express her observation and cognition about family in modern life.	Tsai Tsung Tang Director of "My Dear Planet".From Taichung, Taiwan.Interesting in Rock’n’Roll, computer game and films.The reason could be very simple when someone gets into something. Clïnton Liu 21 year-old,graduated from Fu-Hsin Trade & Arts School in Advertising Design.Found a way to study myself and the others when met the documentary photography in 2012.Enrolled in ESADMM in 2013,focus on images and art installations. Dick Graffiti 23-year-old,Graffiti artist.I'm what I am as free as my creations,draw what I like,there's no specific rules,in addition of manuscripts,I usually use spray paint on graffiti.I particularly like fishes,I can imagine how chaos would it be in the deep ocean,same as the human world,it is a symbol of freedom, freedom in the pain,like a reflect of myself. Rommi Huang Taiwanese illustrator,graduated from SCU(Taiwan0 in fashion design,2012.Specialized in mixing the graphic art and fashion into illustrate works. Felik Wong Graduated from EICAR(Paris,France).Graduate project《Midnight Maurice》got nominees in several film festivals,one of them was Atlanta Philosophy Film Festival. Now working in film and media area.	Tzu-An Wu Born in Taipei, Taiwan 1985, and now lives in New York. He tends to to develop the personal vision on the world through filmmaking. The topic he's currently interested in and inspired by the relation between social narratives, the construction of the selves, and cinema. He holds a BA in Gender Study and Cultural Study from National Tsing Hua University, Taiwan (2007) and a MA in Media Studies from The New School, New York (2012).
